Enterprise Engineering Manager
Role
The Enterprise Engineering Manager at Cursor will lead the team building the product and systems that make Cursor indispensable to the world's most demanding customers. This is a founder-style role: you'll be close to the customer, working side by side with GTM to turn feedback into features, scale deployments, and deliver outsized business results. You'll need to move quickly, balance competing priorities, and find creative solutions that maximize impact.
Cursor is helping some of the world's largest enterprises transform their software engineering teams to work in a deeply AI-driven way. Adoption is spreading quickly from developers bottoms-up, while at the same time we're partnering directly with CTOs at many of the most exciting companies in the world. You'll sit at the forefront of how leading engineering organizations are rethinking developer productivity. Remarkably, this business was built by a single engineer until recently, so your contributions will shape its future in a big way.
Sample projects include…
- Building enterprise-grade features such as security, compliance, and administration at scale
- Partnering with GTM to launch new capabilities that unlock large customer adoption and revenue
- Leading integrations with customer systems, from identity and access management to developer workflows
- Driving reliability, performance, and customization to meet the needs of Fortune 500 and fast-scaling customers
You might be a fit if…
- You've led engineering teams shipping complex systems or enterprise products with direct business impact
- You think like a founder: entrepreneurial, scrappy, and focused on results that move the needle
- You thrive working closely with GTM, customers, and engineering to translate needs into durable solutions
- You care about building for impact, balancing speed, reliability, and customer trust
About
We're Anysphere, the team behind Cursor.
Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering.
We're a group of engineers and scientists who've built well-known products, created large OSS projects, started productive businesses, won olympiad medals, and published significant research (e.g. tmm1, ian, luke, phil, federico, aman, sualeh).
Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truthseeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.
We're in-person with cozy offices in North Beach, San Francisco and Manhattan, New York, replete with well-stocked libraries. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz, OpenAI, Jeff Dean, John Schulman, and the founders of Stripe and Github.
Applying
If there appears to be a fit, we'll reach to schedule 2-3 short technicals. The final step is an onsite in our office, where you'll work on a small project, discuss ideas, and meet the team.
